Plan to Attend "Creating a World-Class Negotiating Organization"

CBI Founder, MIT Ford Professor of Urban and
Environmental Planning Lawrence
Susskind, and the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School, will present the interactive program, Establishing Competitive Advantage by Creating a World-Class Negotiating Organization, on March 31, 2011 in Cambridge, MA.

Designed to produce measurable and continuous improvement in
organizational negotiating capacity, the program combines
lecture, instructional video, role-play simulations, and class
discussion, recasting negotiation as a core business process,
rather than merely an individual skill. It incorporates the ideas and
methods presented in Built to Win, co-authored by Susskind and Hal
Movius, principal and director of CBI's training and consulting services.

Key topics addressed during the course include:

  • Negotiation as an organizational—not individual—capability
  • Negotiation audits—assessment of current challenges and opportunities
  • The Viatex Game—creating a culture of learning
  • Building a learning portal—how to sustain your new competitive advantage
